WEB Parts in ASP.net I want to create a totally user friendly website in ASP.net. I am little aware with WEB Parts in ASP.net as below: ASP.NET Web Parts controls are an integrated set of controls for creating Web sites that enable end users to modify the content, appearance, and behavior of Web pages directly in a browser. Now i am confuse about to use to use FCK editor or Web Parts to create a user friendly website????

Footer goes crazy, won't push down
Hi all,
I have a small problem with my site that I can't seem to fix. I would like my footer to always stick to the bottom of the screen, unless the content is long enough to push it down. I use a "push" div between the content and the footer parts of my page in order to accomplish that, however in some browsers/resolutions it leaves a gap between the two parts or the footer overlaps a part of the content.
How do I fix this?

Decomposition, coupling and cohesion, and volatility
Decomposition by “coupling and cohesion” and “volatility” are two architectural decomposition methods that are unlikely to be used together in the same project. However it’s possible to first decompose by CoC and identify the parts of the system that should be kept together, and then use decomposition by volatility to isolate the parts that are likely to change in the future. This means that we might need to reduce the cohesion of the system to some extent, but it should make changing or replacing the volatile parts of the system less of a hassle.Simplify Dynamic JavaScript UIs With Knockout
Knockout is a JavaScript library to help creating rich and responsive user interfaces with a clean data model.
The library simplifies connecting parts of a UI (like automatically updating some parts of an application when another part changes) and also comes with a flexible and sophisticated templating logic.
In short, it asks you to represent your data with JavaScript (like an array), and then, use a template to integrate this data into HTML.
It is a standalone library, can work with any JS framework and be implemented into any existing web application without huge changes.
Knockout is very well-documented and has several examples to ease the learning process.Fill the remaining freespace at the bottom with a div container?
Hi,
I have a webpage which consists of these 3 parts:Header (100% wide)
Content (676px wide)
Footer (100% wide)
Now, I want the footer (or another div with the same background color) to extend to the browsers bottom. If the page is larger than the browser window, the footer shall remain at it's default height (scrolling with the rest of the page).
This is not possible without JavaScript, right? Another problem is that the header (!) & content parts have no fixed height. But can this be done, cross-browser, without awfull hacks?

In the second part of this tutorial I will show you how to take your created email template and turn it into HTML that can actually be sent to subscribers. I will be using Dreamweaver if you don’t have that then you can use what you prefer.
The first thing we need to do is slice up the parts we want as images in the email newsletter. Before we export it as a .jpg file though, decide what parts you don’t need to include in the image. Like for instance I don’t want any of the text that I will be making real text in the image. So I will hide the layers for the date, “visit our website”, and all the fake text except for in the header because it won’t be real text.Drag and drop support for your parts within the workbench in Eclipse e4
Some of you may have noticed that you cannot drag and drop your parts (views and editors) within an Eclipse e4 application by default.
To make this work add a dependency to the plugin “org.eclipse.e4.ui.workbench.addons.swt” and add the Add-On “org.eclipse.e4.ui.workbench.addons.dndaddon.DnDAddon” to your “Application.e4xmi”. For example you could add it via the following:
I also updated my Eclipse e4 Tutorial.
Many thanks to Tom Schindl for the tip.
[Update] The D&D in the user interface creates additional containers. To get ride of them use the Add-On platform:/plugin/org.eclipse.e4.ui.workbench.addons.swt/org.eclipse.e4.ui.workbench.addons.cleanupaddon.CleanupAddonSEO for Your Website
