My question is: If I chose to simply to a CNAME change so that my new website is visible, will I lose any SEO juice from my old website? I don't want to have to continue paying for hosting simply to maintain a 301 redirect unless I really have to. Any ideas?

[WTA] Best Solution To Changing Website Domain Into New Domain
I have a website with pagerank 3.
Let's say the domain is domainA.com
But now I want to change my domain into domainB.com.
What I mean change is, setup domainB.com and then copy/import all the content in domainA.com and make it domainB.com content now.
I am using WordPress and I know how to update the links, and etc.
I think I can use wildcard redirect to still maintain domainA.com permalink and redirect each of the post to domainB.com.
My concern now is the pagerank.
How to maintain the page rank and all the backlink I have for domainA.com?
Thank you very much for advise. :)2nd Domain name bought that's older than mine but......
Right, I've a site that I've been running for 11 months and the domain is .info
Its in a small niche but I'm happy with it. Its more a hobby forum that is starting to get active. I rank 4th for my keyword and have around 3500+ backlinks and a pr3. A 5 year+ .net domain of the same domain as my .info became available yesterday and I bought it. What's the best way of setting this up. I'd say a .net is liked more by big G than .info and its also older too.
Case Study: 301 Redirects, Rankings, and SEO
It's well known that 301 redirects are handy when going through a site redesign or attempting to shift link juice from one page to another.
The thing is, Google can be temperamental when you change anything on your website. I've seen a Google Slap from redesigning a site, even though the content was the same!
So the question was, would Google disrupt my rankings after I enabled a redirect, and if so, what would the long term effects be?

I am new VERY new to javascript301 Redirected incorrectly - what is lost when we correct it?
I have a quick SEO question that I wanted to throw out there and garner opinions:
How much is lost if you change a 301 redirect from one page to another after two weeks? month? Is anything lost?
Will Google, SEs recognize the new page?
Essentially, one of my clients pushed a 301 redirect from an old page to our main category page (one level below the homepage) when we really wanted to 301 redirect to a new version of the page.
If we discovered this three weeks later when Google has already recognized the redirect (thus pulling the old URL out of their index) - what has been lost if we correct that change after the fact?
Thanks in advance for your help!
P.S. the old page has many links pointing to it.Redirect.php?url
