How to create RSS feed?

Hi, I have a html pages website and I am thinking to create RSS feed for it. Problem is that as I found that RSS feed provider only Atom or feed burner type sites, If I want to start my feeds on my own server page without getting touch other website, is it possible. Is there any special code to create it in my site? or any tutorial? Thanks, seo.student

I want to distribute my website content and in turn, generate backlinks to my site using rss feeds. My question is: is there a difference for backlink value (or getting a backlink at all) in creating an rss feed from a site like Feedburner (or other sites like this) or generating an rss feed on my own and uploading it to my own server? I am also wondering if creating an rss feed from a site like Feedburner would be like submitting an article to a directory in that they house the content so they get the value from the content created not me. Would I be better off uploading the feeds to my site and hosting them there or does it not really matter?

I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, but I have the statpress plugin on my Wordpress site and I was wondering what the feed stat exactly means? Is it the # of people who have subscribed to your feed that day? Also if your feed is submitted to an feed aggregator does it create a backlink? Thanks and again sorry if this is a stupid question

I am trying to create an RSS feed that will stay updated in accordance with the following page: http://www.wizardrss.com/cache I have one setup here that is just how I want it: http://www.feed43.com/2464436826546660.xml However, Feed43 only updates the feed every 6 hours. Does anyone know of a script that I can use to create an RSS feed like that for that specified directory?
