Hello Folks, I installed a template on the following site and did not actually write the javascript dropdown menu seen at the top of http://sthomaslc.com/ The problem is that if parent list items Ministries and Parish Leadership have enough children, they expand out right off of the screen of low resolution setups. I am totally new to javascipt programming so excuse my ignorance when I ask how to make the children items to expand out left instead of right if it's detected that the menu has hit the right side of the browser window. Possible?A Messed up CSS Drop Down Menu
I'm trying to make a simple css dropdown menu for one link in my nav bar.
The website is:
http://www.blanchetrocker.com/
If you hover above "Products", you should see a drop down, but a few of the below layers overlap it, including the flash object, which cuts off submenu items.
It seems to me that the rest of the page is overlapping the dropdown menu when you hover over it, so as soon as you leave the little box that you originally hover over to see the submenu, the rest of the menu disappears.
Also, none of the other links work yet either because I was just trying to get this dropdown to work initially.
Any help is greatly appreciated!"DIY" CSS Dropdown Menu Issues
Hey everyone!
I'm working on a website for my Air Force ROTC detachment, and I'm running into a few problems with the CSS Dropdown Menu.
To view the link you have to Register
For one, I can't figure out the best way to get it to center in the middle of the screen. For now, I have it with a padding of 25% of the left side, which bumps it to the middle on a 1280x1024 display... but when I look at it on my 1080p monitor, things get a little messed up. I know why it messes up, I just don't know a better way to do it.

Hey Guys,I have been out of the design scene for a bit and now I am back and I am trying to create a dropdown menu. This dropdown menu will be for a navigation bar and I am looking for some sort of javascript code that I can use to make my images that are linked have sub categories. I have searched throughout ozzu and beyond and all I can find are either flash script, scripts that cost money, or drop down menus that are hard coded. Anyone know of the best way to create a dropdown menu for the intermediate developer? Thanks!TemplaTopic Replies: 0Javascript not working on sub menu items on DNN site
Hi, I really need urgent help. I am using a javascript on a DotNetNuke CMS site to allow the user to choose text/background colour, basically it changes stylesheets. Here is the code that I have used: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...etswitcher.htm and here is my example: http://lrptintranet.com.dnnmax.com/ - you can see the colour image buttons top right under the main menu. The style sheet changer seems to work on the top menu level items but as soon as you choose a submenu the javascript doesn't seem to work. I don't know anything at all about javascript - can anyone offer any advice how I can get this working on the sub menu pages?
