Can you Overlink a set of keywords
I studied my keywords and noticed several around page 2 or 3 on SERPS
So i made an assumption that some good internal linking using the keyword in the anchor text in the same site would push the rankings up to page 1
In effect i used the "Blogroll" style links in WordPress so i had a top 10 searched area listing these 10 keyword rich links on the right column of EVERY page
Since then my traffic overall on the site has gone down
its almost a month since this change
So what should i do?
A) Assume Google/search engines doesn't like 100s of links on a right column and therefore its triggered a negative score
B) Allow more time than a month

Google Sending Irrelevant KeyWord Hits to My "404 Page Not Found" page
Hello all
For the past couple of days Google has been sending junk search hits to my 404 Page Not Found" page. Because of this my traffic has shot up some ten fold.I have no idea why this is happening.
My site is about foreign stocks.Up until now in Google search my site showed up for keywords related to stocks. Now for example if people search for:
"free wine tasting invitations templates" or
"multiplication square puzzles"
Google lists my site's non-existent page in the front page. So people click on it and land on my 404 page. Google my site in search as :

How to start SEO Business
Okay. Let's say someone is not the best at designing websites. The creatives. But, they are very good at understanding on-page and off-page optimization. i.e.: they get keywords ranked on pg 1 and they stay there. So, a great skill
but just does not have the knack for the graphics or enough code knowledge to tweak a WP site to give it that perfect layout or look. Know what I mean?
Traffic Estimate Based on Keyword Ranking???/
Are there any tools that will estimate incoming traffic based on what keyword ranking I have. Let's say I'm aiming to move up to #4 for a search term and want to get an idea of how much traffic to expect. Is there a tool that will calculate this for me? I'm currently at the bottom of Page 2 for my main keyword and want to get an idea of how much traffic to expect when I hit page 1.
Thanks
