I've recently been told that a new good way of building good quality backlinks with no footprint is to create a good quality article with two links in the resource box then create links to this directory which in turn creates a more authority backlink to your site without leaving a footprint. Is this a good tactic? Ha anyone tried it?

Building A Lot Of Backlinks
hey guys, I'm on a mission to build tens of thousands of quality backlinks to my main site, and in the process of building over 1000 pages for it as well. Does anyone know of a good method, or service, that will actually give me quality links for my money? I am currently using article syndication and blog comments only on relevant sites with high pr, or that are updated frequently. I've looked around for backlink services to help, but have come across so many that I can't trust one. I need someone with some experience in using a service to help find one that won't ruin my sites rep. Please don't send me to your signature links. Thanks in advance.Article Marketing 101
Hi everybody,
Recently discovered this forum, read around, looks good, solid community. So I've decided to bounce a question. I've done some linkbuilding for the first time and the results aren't that good, as in I haven't hit google top 100. But I see here there's a lot of effort going into article marketing.
Can you give me some pointers on how to do some quality article marketing? I mean, how many instances of your keywords do you use, do you 'spin' the articles and submit them on other sites? I don't know, I guess I could use some basic guidelines.
A New Pre-Spun Article Service...
I have been using article marketing for years now and have always had good results. Of course I have always trying to find better and easier ways to get my work done.
I started using Vita Vee's pre spun articles, they are good articles, but very expensive. I am now using a new service, http://bestspinnablearticles.com the quality of the articles are great and they are already spun for me.
Any way just wanted to share in case other people are looking for spinnable articles.Do you think Google measures links removed? Could they count against you in SEO
Do you think Google takes a measurement of the number of links removed (inbound links).
Apparently, there are over 200 factors in calculating your SERPs, I wonder if the number of removed links is one of them
It would be a good way to flag spam
If a site had 100,000's of in bound links, but many of them were later removed, its a good indication that there is some manual link building going using a spamming like process (either that or the linked content is low quality).
If I had Cutt's job, I would certainly look into the number of removed links as an indicator of spam sites

10 SEO tips for better rankings
These are my top 10 tips for getting good rankings, based on what I have taught myself about SEO. They are more about strategy rather than me feeding you with garbage info on how to get 200 links to your site in five minutes. I’m actually not an SEO, I don’t offer this service – I just use it to rank my own sites.
1. Pretty much all types of link building works, from the best form of link building (natural, in-content links on high PR pages with good anchor text) right down to the bottom of the barrel links (blog comments, profile links, mass article submission, link wheels)
