Adsense CTR Suddenly Dropped

Hello guys, I have no big experience with pay per click programs and adsense websites. The website i was working with was ranking good at google. And I tried to do some simple search engine optimization tricks as well. I had good CTR in my website since the day I publish ads on it (from last 3-4 months. The site (press release distribution) was doing well in google searches and was performing well with adsense too. I don't know why the CTR has dropped in the last two days. Can anybody advice me on this? If you have any suggestions, any advice - please leave it here. That'd be a great help. Do you think that I have to work more with search engine optimization process of the website? Is that because of seo factors? Thanks for your time.
